Nacho Kats - 10,000 Kats. Every One Has Its Own Personality.

Nacho is one kat.

But his community has a whole extended family.

Nacho Kats is a collection of 10,000 digital characters inspired by Nacho the Kat, created on Kaspa.

Every Kat has its own number and a mix of traits that give it a distinct look and personality.

Some look tough. Others look playful, mysterious, or delightfully weird.

10,000 Kats. One community.

Wait, what's an NFT?

Say you have 100 NACHO.

Those are 100 units of the same token. One NACHO unit is interchangeable with another.

But Nacho Kat #1234 is a specific item in a collection.

It has its own identifier, image, and traits.

That's the idea of an NFT:

A digital item you can identify separately from every other item.

You can display it, transfer it, or trade it through services that support the collection.

What makes the Kats different?

Each Kat has its own mix of clothing, expressions, hats, accessories, backgrounds, and more.

The collection also includes traits such as Role and Realm, adding more character and story to the world of Nacho.

Browse the Kats, spot unusual combinations, and find one that feels like yours.

Not everyone has to love the same Kat. That's part of the fun.

Just something to collect?

Not quite.

Beyond the artwork and the community, Nacho Kats also connect to a real service in the ecosystem:

KatPool.

Hold a Nacho Kat? There's a KatPool benefit.

KatPool is an open-source Kaspa mining pool.

Its current pool fee is 0.75% of mining rewards, and miners receive part of that fee back in NACHO.

Every miner gets a 33% fee rebate in NACHO.

But if you're mining through KatPool and hold at least one eligible Nacho Kat NFT under the pool's eligibility rules:

100% of the fee comes back to you in NACHO.

That's the full calculated pool fee, returned in NACHO rather than KAS.

A quick example

Say your share of the mining rewards is:

1,000 KAS

KatPool's fee is:

7.5 KAS

With an eligible Nacho Kat:

You receive NACHO worth 7.5 KAS as a rebate.

Your mining reward is paid in KAS after the pool fee, and the rebate arrives separately in NACHO.

That means the collection connects to something beyond a gallery:

Actual mining activity on Kaspa.

This benefit is for eligible miners using KatPool. Holding an NFT by itself, without mining, doesn't generate mining rewards.

How do Nacho Kats fit into NachoNation?

Nacho started with a real cat and grew into a community creating and building around Kaspa.

Nacho Kats are part of the family - 10,000 characters, each with a personality of its own.

Find a Kat you love, collect it, show it on your profile, and meet the other Kats.

And the connection doesn't stop at collecting. KatPool already shows how the Kats can be part of the services being built around Kaspa.
